Chocolate Sunflower Seed Spread

Original Recipe by Shirley Plant

Can’t have nuts, this healthy version of nutella is sure to please both young and old. Spread it on toast or graham crackers

Ingredients

  • 1 jar ( 250g) sunflower seed butter
  • 1 cup  dates
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 4 tbsp pure cocoa
  • 4 tbsp unsweetened dried coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3-4 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • pinch sea salt

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a food processor until well combined and smooth
  2. Spoon into a glass jar and keep in the fridge
  3. Spread on bread, toast or graham crackers
