Healthy Salmon Burgers
Healthy Salmon Burgers
These healthy salmon burgers are easy to make. They are great for dinner or for lunch. Give them a try and let me know how you enjoy them. Serve with a side salad and sliced avocado or tomato on top.
Ingredients
- 3 tins of wild pink salmon, drained
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- handful of fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped
- 2 tbsp lemon juice and a bit of lemon rind
- 6 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp ground flax seed or 2 regular eggs
- 1/2 cup almond flour or gluten free oats
Directions
- If using flax seed instead of eggs, mix with water and let sit for 10 minutes
- Add all ingredients to a bowl and if using oats, let sit for a few minutes.
- Form into patties
- Place on cast iron bbq grill, aluminum foil or cook in a frying pan with a little olive oil
- Serve with side salad, sliced avocado or tomatoes
