Pork Roast with Apples
This recipe for pork roast with apples and onions will tantalize and satisfy everyone in your family, and it’s so easy to make in the slow cooker or dutch oven.
Ingredients
- 3-4 lb pork loin roast
- 2 organic apples, sliced in quarters
- 2 onions, sliced in quarters
- 1 1/2 cup organic apple juice- I like PC Brand
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp grainy mustard- I like Maison Orphee Old-Fashioned Mustard
- pinch rosemary
Directions
- Pour apple juice into slow cooker
- Rub mustard over the top of the roast and put in the slow cooker
- Add apples, onions, rosemary, salt and pepper
- Set slow cooker on high and cook for 4-6 hours
