Make this delicious meatloaf for dinner tonight. This recipe is suitable for those following a low histamine, paleo or mast cell activation diet.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages of ground beef/ pork mixture or you can use just beef, pork, venison, caribou
  •  

    1 small onion

  •  

    1 large carrot, diced

  •  

    1/ 2 organic red pepper (optional)

  •  

    2 stalks celery

  •  

    1 1/2 tsp sea salt

  •  

    Pepper to taste

  •  

    1 garlic clove (optional)

  •  

    Handful of fresh cilantro or parsley or basil

  •  

    Fresh thyme

  •  

    A little water

  • Directions

    1. Mix all ingredient except meat in a food processor until well combined. Mix into meat and combine well with your hands
    2. Press into a loaf pan and let sit for 20 minutes in the fridge
    3. Bake 350 F for 1 hour
    4. Slice and serve
